Welcome to White Wild West FCI – where Westies are family.

 

Our love story with the West Highland White Terrier began over 20 years ago. What started as admiration for their cheerful spirit, intelligence and courage, soon grew into a deep bond that has lasted for decades. In 2024, we turned our lifelong passion into a professional commitment by founding our kennel, White Wild West FCI. The name reflects both the breed’s origin and our philosophy – a balance between the wild charm of this terrier and the structure of responsible, ethical breeding. Our Westies are not just dogs – they are cherished members of our family. They grow up in a warm, loving home, surrounded by children, nature, and everyday life. We believe that a happy, confident puppy begins with a calm and nurturing environment, so we give each litter our full attention, care and socialization from the very beginning.​

 

OUR BREEDING PHILOSOPHY

We are fully committed to the health, character and beauty of the West Highland White Terrier. Our goal is to raise dogs that are not only physically sound and true to the breed standard, but also mentally balanced, friendly and full of Westie charm. We work closely with veterinarians and genetic specialists to ensure that our dogs are tested, healthy and raised with the highest standards of care. We carefully select breeding pairs based on health, temperament, pedigree and conformation, always keeping in mind the long-term well-being of the breed. As breeders, we believe in transparency, responsibility and lifelong support. Each puppy goes to its new home with a passport, microchip, veterinary documentation and a heart full of love. And we stay in touch – because when you take a puppy from us, you become part of our extended Westie family.​

 

WHY WE BREED?

This is more than a hobby. For us, breeding is a heartfelt mission. We raise each puppy as if it were staying with us forever. We are proud to contribute to the preservation and promotion of this wonderful breed – one that brings joy, laughter, and loyalty into so many lives. Dobrodošli pri White Wild West FCI – tam, kjer so Westiji del družine.

Naša ljubezenska zgodba z Zahodnovišavskimi belimi terierji se je začela pred več kot 20 leti. Tisto, kar se je sprva porodilo kot občudovanje njihove vedrine, bistrosti in poguma, je hitro preraslo v globoko vez, ki traja še danes.

Leta 2024 sva svojo dolgoletno strast spremenila v zavzeto poslanstvo in ustanovila psarno White Wild West FCI. Ime združuje poreklo pasme in najino vzrejno filozofijo – ravnotežje med igrivo divjostjo tega malega terierja in premišljenim, odgovornim pristopom k vzreji.

Naši Westiji niso le psi – so člani naše družine. Odraščajo v toplem, ljubečem domu, obdani z otroškim smehom, naravo in vsakdanjim družinskim življenjem. Verjameva, da samozavesten in srečen mladiček prihaja iz okolja, kjer so mu od prvih dni namenjeni pozornost, nežnost in ustrezna socializacija.

NAŠA VZREJNA FILOZOFIJA

Naš cilj je vzgajati zdrave, uravnotežene in značajsko prijetne Westije, ki ohranjajo tipične pasemske lastnosti – tako po videzu kot po značaju.

Zato skrbno izbiramo vzrejne pare glede na zdravje, značaj, poreklo in skladnost s standardom. Sodelujemo z veterinarji in genetskimi specialisti, da zagotovimo visoke zdravstvene standarde in dobrobit vsakega psa.

Kot vzreditelja verjameva v odgovornost, odprtost in trajno podporo. Vsak mladiček v novi dom odide s potnim listom, z mikročipom, veterinarsko dokumentacijo in – kar je najpomembnejše – s srcem, polnim ljubezni.
Z novimi lastniki ostajamo v stiku, saj z odhodom mladička postanete del naše širše Westie družine.

To ni zgolj hobi. Vzreja je najino poslanstvo. Vsakega mladička vzgajava z mislijo, kot da bi ostal z nami za vedno.

Ponosna sva, da lahko prispevava k ohranjanju in razvoju te čudovite pasme, ki v toliko domov prinaša smeh, zvestobo in srečo.
